The Dream: The Art of Skateboarding

The skateboarding community is one of the main motivators for us when it comes to why we choose to do what we do. Its hands down the most unique collection of individuals on earth which is something that we want to share and promote in all things we do. With this in mind, we recently were approached with an incredible opportunity to host a community gathering here at Bustin HQ in collaboration with a few key individuals within our area as well as within skateboarding its self. The Dream: The Art of Skateboarding is going to be an Art Auction as well as Video Premier with an ultimate goal of raising money for Jake’s Skate Park which is slotted to be built in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore.

On January 13th from 7pm-10pm,  The Bustin Crew along with Mike Vallely and Joey Jett from Street Plant Skateboards are teaming up together to  rally the local skate and art communities to come out and gather for a one of a kind fundraiser that is not to be missed. Mike will be hanging out and lurking with everyone while Joey will be premiering his new film The Dream: The Art of Skateboarding with everyone present as well. Key Brewing, Waterfront Partnership, Skatepark of Baltimore, as well as Friends of Rash Field will also be lending a helping hand to benefit the building of a skatepark in honor of 5-year old Jake Owen who tragically was killed by a distracted driver while skating in Baltimore. There will be auction items donated from various businesses, artists, as well as a few one off skateboards donated by Mike, Joey, and The Ryan Sheckler Foundation which also will be up for bids with all proceeds going to the build fund for the park.

Each hand signed and certainly not available anywhere else
